Kay’s Perfumery is a Nigerian fragrance brand crafting long-lasting, high-quality scents and home fragrance products, perfume oils, scented candles, reed diffusers, and room/linen sprays, positioned as affordable luxury. The brand operates a retail/lab space in Abuja, giving customers a lounge experience to sample and shop. I’ve mentored the team on sharpening brand positioning, retail experience design, and go-to-market strategy for growth.
Challenge & Solution
Kay’s Perfumery needed to stand out in a crowded market and educate customers on the benefits of non-toxic, alcohol-free options while building trust beyond social media. Together, we reframed the narrative around affordable luxury + sensitivity-friendly formulations, tightened product storytelling across perfume oils, diffusers, candles, and sprays, and elevated the in-store sampling/lounge experience to convert walk-ins. We also aligned digital channels (content, testimonials, reels) with clear offers and consistent packaging, and clarified the founder story to humanize the brand and strengthen credibility.
