Peddle iLabs is a pioneering social enterprise in Nigeria, delivering mobile digital classrooms that fit in a box and can host at least 50 mini-computers, all powered by solar energy through a gamified learning platform. Tailored for underserved communities—such as refugee camps and rural areas—these compact, solar-powered kits convert existing spaces into fully functional digital classrooms, enabling access to practical ICT education where traditional infrastructure is lacking
I’m honored to have mentored the Peddle iLabs team, guiding their strategy, narrative, and scaling efforts to strengthen their mission of bridging the digital divide for Nigeria’s youth.
Challenge & Solution
When we first began collaborating, Peddle iLabs had conceived an inspiring innovation, but faced pressing challenges: traditional classrooms in underserved communities were underserved by ICT infrastructure, teacher capacity for digital tools was limited, and the model was unfamiliar to stakeholders, which hindered adoption.
